A truly talented artist we had the honor of working with in Guinea, MyBaby, has been a folk performer in the Matoto suburb of Conakry for a long time, as well as an inspiration to the youth and community that’s grown up around her. We recorded this and other songs while in Guinea earlier this year. ‘Matoto’ is an ode to the musically vibrant suburb of the capital and can be found along with a host of other songs on the upcoming Sembeh Ma Fa Fe compilation due out over the summer.
